Equipped & Sent or Equipped & Sit?

Saying one thing and doing it are two different things.  Do we really love others the way Christ does?  If we really mean it, we will live out that love all around us.

What would happen if we Christians remained in our "training centers" (a.k.a. church buildings) and comfortable homes and never took the hope of Christ to a lost, hurting, confused and dying world?  This humorous video from the Right Now Campaign shows what it's like to train for a job but never do it.

Christians are trained, equipped & sent to do the work of the ministry, to be the body of Christ - His hands and His feet - since He is no longer here on earth.  We will never be fully ready or trained or equipped to do what He has assigned for us to do.  But that is no excuse for not obeying the command to go and make followers of Christ among all people groups on this planet.

God has given us His Holy Spirit and will provide all we need to do that which He has called us to accomplish!
